It’s illegal in most places in the US to have a vegetable garden in your front yard. You will be fined and the municipality you live in has the assumed authority to deface and destroy your property as they see necessary.
Also can’t collect rainwater. Illegal. Then again, we live in a world where some plants and even people are illegal, so.. Not surprising.
